Apple 27″ iMac with Retina 5K Display (Late 2014)
While I no longer use on iMac computer since getting the new Mac Pro, this new 5K screen iMac fits the bill perfectly for 90% of photographers out there. You can pack a whopping 32 gigs of RAM into this baby and it is fast enough for pretty much all a photographer needs.
Apple Mac Pro Desktop Computer (Six-Core, Late 2013)
I went all out here and got myself the Ferrari of computers. No regrets. This thing is screaming fast and whisper silent. Since I’m hoping to add some video production to my workflow in the new year, the additional speed on this computer will help me take better advantage of my time in front of my computer.
