In Iceland with my favourite Arc’teryx jacket… In yellow of course
I’ll be honest and say that I have been a fan of Arc’Teryx gear for some time now. So much so that I approached them in 2012 to see if they would be interested in partnering with me in some way. As a rule they only really work with adventure sports photographers and their team of awesome Arc Athletes, so I was especially pleased when they decided to provide me with the title of Arc’Teryx Ambassador and send me gear to test once in a while.
Now that I’m an “ambassador” I’m guessing that I have diplomatic immunity and people all over the world will have to call me Mr. Ambassador, right? Just imagine all the fancy dinners and parties I’m going to get invited to from now on!
In all seriousness, I’m so pleased to be associated with this great Canadian company and happy to share some of my favourite Arc’teryx gear here with you. Arc’Teryx did not ask me to do this and they don’t pay me to review their gear. I’m doing this because I love these clothes for my travels and they make my job easier to do in different climates, conditions, and temperatures. Not only is the Arc’Teryx gear perfect for all kinds of sporting activities it is also quite ideal for travellers like me… And you!
Full disclosure: Arc’Teryx provided me with all the gear I reviewed but I would never sacrifice my integrity in exchange for a favourable review on my blog or on any of my social media properties.
