Giant Christmas Tree at the Milan Cathedral

In the Piazza del Duomo in Milan at the Milan Cathedral, you will find one of the biggest Christmas trees in the world at this time of year. The whole square is alive with locals and tourists alike and everyone seems to be in a happy mood as they greet each other, take photos, and move on to their next destination. For many that next destination is the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II (seen to the left) for some Christmas shopping. I’d say that this is the most beautiful part of the city and a great place for taking photos, or having a delicious Italian coffee & pastry from the cafe directly behind where I was standing to take this shot.

Washington D.C . update

Day one in D.C. was interesting to say the least. After driving through a crazy blizzard near Syracuse, I thought that I had left the snow behind me. Wrong! My first day of shooting here started off nicely with some shots of the the White House, The Washington Memorial and the Jefferson Memorial. On my walk towards the Lincoln memorial it started to snow, and snow, and snow! After a few hours of this, it wasn’t just the White house that was white. Every house was white! Got some great shots and I’m off to take some more.
